The University of Michigan Children's Centers have openings for Associate Teachers working in our infant/toddler and preschool classrooms.
The U-M Children's Centers provide care for close to 500 children of faculty, staff and students from all over the world. The centers employ over 120 staff members. The play based programs are designed by teaching teams adapting to meet the needs and interests of the children. We maintain low teacher to child ratios so relationships can flourish. As an associate teacher you will work with children, families and coworkers from diverse backgrounds, cultures and abilities. This role is primarily onsite with occasional remote work offered based on Center business needs. Flexible scheduling may also be considered (i.e. 4 10 hour work days or possible alternate schedules) and will vary by Center.
This position is included in the bargaining unit represented by the University Staff United (USU), which represents bargaining unit members in all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
