Department: DC Virgo Prep AcademyBrief Summary of Work for this position: Substitute TeacherA substitute teacher at DC Virgo Preparatory Academy will support students in grades K-8 during the absence of the classroom teacher. Substitute teachers are responsible for supervising students in the assigned class, maintaining order and safety and executing the plan left by the classroom teacher. Substitute teachers will also follow the assigned schedule for the classroom and supervise students during arrival, breakfast, transitions, lunch and dismissal. Substitute teachers must be able to follow oral and written directions, take attendance and report lunch selections.Support and Community Positions
