Assistant Teacher
Assistant Teacher Bank Street Head Start Location: 535 E 5th St, New York, NY 10009 Brief description of function and responsibilities: This is a full time position. Working hours are Monday-Friday 8:00-4:00 PM Your role would be to assist the teacher in maintaining a clean and orderly classroom. Duties will include: to participate in the arrival and dismissal of students, including activities outside of the classroom. Conduct classroom activities when the Teacher is absent and substitutes in other classrooms. Participate in staff meetings and supervisory conferences as scheduled.
