Specialist - Teacher-Fixed Term
Position Summary The Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition at Michigan State University invites applications for a full‐time, 12-month, fixed-term Academic Specialist-Teacher with a 100% teaching assignment with annual reappointment available, contingent on satisfactory evaluated performance. The position start date is anticipated to be December 15, 2022. This position includes an expectation to serve as course director for, and/or co-teach, courses in-person including nutrient metabolism at the undergraduate and graduate level; a senior-level, laboratory-based nutrition and food course using state-of-the-art nutrition and food science research methods; and freshman-level service course(s).
