The Boston University Children's Center is seeking a qualified and experienced lead teacher to join its collaborative teaching team. The BU Children's Center currently provides education and care to children ages two through five and will be expanding this summer to provide infant and young toddler care in a newly renovated Center. The Center serves families who work, teach, or go to school at Boston University. Lead teachers at the Children's Center work collaboratively to create a play-based, child-directed environment, in which children can feel welcomed and supported. The Center recognizes a child's need to learn to respect themselves and to gain the respect of others. This is an ongoing process involving all aspects of a child's being.
