The Electrical Technology Program (Apprenticeship) Program seeks candidates who can prepare and deliver lectures and labs, grade assignments, and give student performance input. You must be a State of Michigan Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician. The Electrical Technology Program is a U.S. Department of Labor-approved related technical instruction program for those individuals working towards fulfilling their electrical apprenticeship requirements. The program started at Michigan State University in 1970 and is considered one of the premier educational programs for electrical apprentices.
Job Duties:
Provide instruction in courses within the Electrical Technology program.
Create and present lectures with examples from real-life situations.
Instruct students on job safety and tool knowledge through hands-on labs.
Collaborate with the program coordinator on class content, student grades, syllabus, and apprenticeships.
Maintain student records within the MSU system.
