Department: Center for Education in STEM - 31403Brief Summary of Work for this position: The Summer Ventures Master Teacher serves as the co-instructor for a one non-credit course taught by a UNCW faculty for the Summer Ventures program.Duties include working with faculty to prepare instructional materials for the course that are appropriate for high school students; supervising high school students engaging in research projects, writing research papers and preparing scientific presentations; manages student behavior and expectations for course performance; works with graduate student assistant to ensure any lab spaces are properly set up for instruction; maintains communication with Summer Ventur
