The Margaret N. Perry Children's Center at the University of Tennessee at Martin is accepting applications for a Child Care Teacher Assistant. Lead teachers give guidance to other teachers in the classroom while providing the best quality care and guidance to children in the absence of their parents or guardians. Lead teachers strive to create meaningful experiences for children that extend their cognitive, social, physical, language and socioeconomic development. Lead teachers provide a respectful learning environment, being sensitive to each one's individual need. In this supportive environment, children become secure and capable as they strive to master their world.
