Members to NAGC can receive three publications -- Parenting for Gifted Children, Teaching for High Potential, and the academic journal, Gifted Child Quarterly. All are available through the mail and online.
Your contribution to NAGC supports various programs that advance the needs of gifted children. You can contribute to the area of greatest need or to a single program.
40 hours weekly Maintains pre-kindergarten licensure or other credential requirements Follows child care regulations as presented in Department of Human Services, Statute 9503 (Rule 3) Documents and reports suspected cases of child abuse to Child Protection Completes required in-service training each year. Tracks and maintains personal training hours and training record form. Completes first-aid/CPR training every two(2) years Directly supervises the toddler program Supervises student workers in the toddler room Supervises practicum/student teachers as assigned Coordinate the schedules with staff in the room when a substitute is used Sees that the daily custodial (diapers, toilet training, feeding) and educational needs of each child are met.
