Members to NAGC can receive three publications -- Parenting for Gifted Children, Teaching for High Potential, and the academic journal, Gifted Child Quarterly. All are available through the mail and online.
1. Assists in the delivery of instruction to students in classroom groups or individually utilizing a variety of teaching techniques as supervised by the teacher. Assists the teacher in providing a stimulating classroom environment; maintains student's interest; minimizes distractions; enforces discipline. Works with the certified teacher to help the student achieve the goals and objectives prescribed in the student's Individual Education Plan; provides positive reinforcement; provides individual tutorial instruction in subject area concentrations such as a language, fine arts, and career education. 2. Assists the certified teacher in making daily decisions about various classroom and school situations requiring assessment of students' clinical state. Must be able to recognize and evaluate
