Members to NAGC can receive three publications -- Parenting for Gifted Children, Teaching for High Potential, and the academic journal, Gifted Child Quarterly. All are available through the mail and online.
-Teach a class of about 20 students in the context of an integrated curriculum -Commit to the academic and social mission of The School, which requires differentiation to meet the needs of a diverse community -Collaborate in the design and implementation of an integrated curriculum -Act as an advisor for Middle Division students if needed -Keep careful anecdotal and assessment records and use them to write accurate, comprehensive student reports -Work to ensure academic excellence by fully knowing students and adapting curriculum to meet student needs -Fulfill duties, responsibilities and commitments as outlined in the Working at The School at Columbia University guidebook -Commitment to equity and justice including knowledge and skills related to cultural competencies
