Conveniently located in Chestnut Hill, MA, the BWH Backup Child Care Center provides high quality, developmentally appropriate child care to the employees and patients of Brigham and Women's Hospital. Because the program specializes in emergency and backup care, the intention is to supplement rather than replace regular child care. Care is provided for Infant, Toddler, Preschool and School-age children, up through 12 years of age. For this role, we are seeking an EEC certified Teacher who is comfortable working with children between the ages of 2.9 years old and 12 years old (Preschool/School Age). Due to the structure of the site, this teacher will be asked to creatively cross over, caring for various age groups within the Center. Our teachers are responsible for the design implementation and evaluation of educationally enriched programs, appropriately catered to the developmental needs of the children they serve.
We are looking for Teachers who:
• Are patient, enthusiastic, and constantly alert • Have strong communications skills • Support families and team members • Are flexible and able to adapt to backup center program needs and schedule changes
