Members to NAGC can receive three publications -- Parenting for Gifted Children, Teaching for High Potential, and the academic journal, Gifted Child Quarterly. All are available through the mail and online.
Your contribution to NAGC supports various programs that advance the needs of gifted children. You can contribute to the area of greatest need or to a single program.
General Summary: Seeking an experienced teacher educator who has taught courses or has supervised in teacher education with undergraduate teacher candidates. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Teaching may include a number of particular obligations which employees are expected to fulfill, including but not limited to: meeting with students during and outside of assigned classes (including at least one office hour weekly), assessing student work and performance, preparing syllabi and course materials, providing copies of syllabi and course material to their supervisor on request, and assigning and submitting grades in accordance with established Eastern Michigan University schedules. Qualifications: Applicants should possess at least a masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Reading, Early Childhood, Educational Psychology, or Educational Learning Technologies and have extensive successful classroom experience in a PK-12 classroom. Preferences will be given to candidates who have also possess teaching experience in teacher education at the undergraduate and graduate level and/or who have served in leadership positions in PK-12 school or district.
