They partner with teachers to establish a classroom environment that will assure success for all. This position also performs a variety of instructional and classroom management supports, as well as, necessary clerical tasks to support teachers. Teacher assistants work collaboratively with teachers, students, parents, colleagues, administrators, and school community members to support the mission of Niner University Elementary in Charlotte, NC. Niner University Elementary School, the lab school for UNC Charlotte, involves an integrated core curriculum for grades K-5 with an emphasis on research-validated practices and social emotional learning.
