Members to NAGC can receive three publications -- Parenting for Gifted Children, Teaching for High Potential, and the academic journal, Gifted Child Quarterly. All are available through the mail and online.
Campus Children's Center is a state licensed and nationally accredited infant and toddler program on the campus of Indiana University.
Our program enrolls IU student, staff and faculty families.
The Part-Time Teacher's Aide assists in the smooth functioning of a preschool classroom with children ages 3-5 years, working collaboratively with the full time teachers. Responsibilities include serving and eating lunch for and with the classroom, assisting in clean-up from lunch, assisting with the transition from lunch to rest time, reading stories, setting up quiet activities, and communicating with children and teachers.
High school diploma or GED.
18 years of age or older.
Experience working with infants and toddlers. Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information with a wide diversity of individuals.
Coursework in child development. Experience working within a child care program with infants and toddlers.
Working Conditions / Demands
Ability to lift 40 pounds. Capable of meeting the physical demands of young children.
Starting wage is $10.30 per hour.
11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (must be able to consistently work this schedule).
