Members to NAGC can receive three publications -- Parenting for Gifted Children, Teaching for High Potential, and the academic journal, Gifted Child Quarterly. All are available through the mail and online.
We are seeking a Program Coordinator of the Teacher Excellence Project who will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of project activities to ensure the accomplishment of the grant's objectives. This person will provide direct supervision to the key project personnel, ensuring that project activities are executed in accordance with the approved application.
This is a full-time, administrative, grant-funded position.
Examples of Duties
Manage day-to-day implementation of the project to ensure accomplishment of objectives
Provide direct supervision to the key project personnel, ensuring that project activities are being implemented in accordance with the approved application
Track activity budget to ensure the appropriate use of funds
Establish and maintain relationships with key partners and promote Title V grant activities
Enlist faculty in Communities of Practice (COP) activities and monitor participation
Develop and implement Early Career Faculty Development initiative
Coordinate the Student Success Coaching Program for faculty and staff
Coordinate Annual Conference
Prepare reports for Project Director, Co-Project Director, and College President
Maintain records and collect data on project activities for use in program reports
Serve on the project management team and Advisory Council
Participate in project evaluation and institutionalization of activities
Master's degree in Education or related field
Minimum three years' experience or related field
Experience with educators and administrators
Outstanding leadership, supervisory, communication and project management skills
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
