The Holway Early Childhood Center, The Barn is looking for a full time Toddler Teacher.
7:00 AM-3:00 PM Monday through Friday (12-month school year)
If you are a person who loves young children (ages 1-3) and enjoys passing on knowledge to educate them, come and work with us! The Toddler Teacher will be working in a team teaching environment, with a classroom of nine toddlers and three teachers (two co-teachers). Additional assistance within the classroom offered by Lasell University teacher assistants and work-study students. Our teaching philosophy focuses on Developmentally Appropriate Practices and Howard Gardner's: Multiple Intelligences. Children range in age from 1-year-old-3 years old. The position is located at Lasell University in Newton, MA.
Qualifications: MUST hold a BA or BS in Early Childhood Education or related field as well as EEC INFANT/TODDLER TEACHER certification. Must have experience working with Infants/Toddlers and supervising others.
