Members to NAGC can receive three publications -- Parenting for Gifted Children, Teaching for High Potential, and the academic journal, Gifted Child Quarterly. All are available through the mail and online.
This position assists thelead teacher in planning and executing an education program in accordance withUTC Children's Center missions and beliefs. Responsibilities include:
Organizing and supervisingactivities according to teachers' direction and curriculum plan.
Maintaining orderlyclassroom environment.
Dispensing medication andproviding first aid when necessary.
Interacting with parentswhen children arrive and leave; assisting Lead teacher to communicate centerphilosophy to parents.
Participating in teammeetings and staff planning sessions.
Participating in ongoingtraining opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in early childhoodeducation.
