UC Irvine School of Education Supervisor of Multiple Subject Teacher Education
For the 2019-2020 academic year, the School of Education may have a need for a temporary, part time supervisor for multiple subject candidates in its multiple subject teacher credential program. The supervisor is responsible for observing and providing feedback to candidates in fieldwork and student teaching at elementary schools in Orange County and attending professional development and faculty meetings.
Must have own transportation and be available to visit schools throughout Orange County to observe candidates during school day hours. Most supervisor positions require a 2 or 3 consecutive quarter commitment.
Service Period Dates for 2019-2020 Academic Year: Fall Quarter: 9/23/19 - 12/13/19 Winter Quarter: 1/2/20 - 3/20/20 Spring Quarter: 3/25/20 - 6/12/20
Minimum Qualifications: California multiple subject teaching credential. Experience as a teacher or administrator in an elementary school. Relevant experience may be considered.
Desired Qualifications: A master's degree in education or relevant content area. Experience mentoring or teaching pre-service or novice teachers.
Annual full-time salaries will begin at a base rate of $56,381.
