Members to NAGC can receive three publications -- Parenting for Gifted Children, Teaching for High Potential, and the academic journal, Gifted Child Quarterly. All are available through the mail and online.
Study Tours by Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, seeks EFL Instructors for a temporary summer position to teach EFL to international high school students. The program uses an ESL curriculum, but instructors must be prepared to supplement with lessons based on the itinerary of the program and American culture. Session dates, which are subject to change, are:Session 1: June 21 - July 5 Session 2: July 5 - July 19 Session 3: July 19 - August 2 Session 4: August 2 - August 16 Classes run from 9 am to 12 pm and or 1 pm to 4 pm with a maximum of 30 contact hours per session. Individual must be available for entire session, including some Saturdays, and may be hired for multiple sessions. Schedule is subject to change to meet the demands of the program. Class size is approximately 15 students.
