We are seeking a Temporary Early Childhood Assistant Teacher to work as a member of a teaching team with a lead teacher, director and student employee aides in the classroom for a three month period.
The Temporary Early Childhood Assistant Teacher works cooperatively with other teachers to plan and implement a model early childhood program. This position acts as a model for classroom assistants, practicum and volunteer students; teaching appropriate skills and techniques by example.
The position is for three months from start date, with the possibility of an extension up to six months.
AA degree or equivalent in Early Childhood Education or related field.
Successful completion of a background check.
Possession of Oregon Food Handler’s Card.
Bachelor of Arts degree.
One year of prior early childhood teaching experience.
